I shifted my gaze from the window side of the luxury bus on my way from work. it’s been a tedious day and trying to get my heart away from activities at work if I could get some fresh air and nature into my system.

Then Suddenly there was a screeching of the tires  with a high  sound, the bus that was on a top speed suddenly applied the brakes, I was seated at the back and at that moment it was like the back of the bus lifted. we were on the third mainland bridge , the longest bridge in Africa.. A greater jolt than that will have landed us  in the sea, what had happened? The car in front of the luxury bus had suddenly lost control and swerved and turned back with speed facing the bus who had been in top speed. It happened in less than 2 minutes.

My heart jolted back to all have learned in church…’in a twinkle of an eye, you might be facing the creator’ it might be the end of life. Having thanked the lord for saving me, I thought of the people in the affected car who would have been the first victim except for Gods intervention. It could all have ended there and then. The man, his wife and their son.

That day I broke the rules of don’t preach in the bus, I raised my voice and spoke of God unmerited favour having just saved us from danger, then I asked the question:  what of if the worst has happened-will it be a moment of transition or moment of catastrophe and disaster.

It becomes an issue of transition if a life is saved and washed by the blood of JESUS but a disaster if we had walked through life on our way, isn’t it enough punishment walking  by yourself in life and suffering eternity for that sake too.

We need not walk alone…we can put our hands into the hands of the Lord and let him walk us and take the lead. In the time of trouble, he can carry us.

I call for prayer leading the bus passengers into the hands of the lord and if you're in that shoes today needing His hand to hold

We all prayed saying  Father in Jesus name

“Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, I come to you today just as I am. Please forgive me of all my sins. I accept you today into my heart and acknowledge that you are the Son of God. That you died for my sins and on the third day, you rose again from death in order to justify me. Please wash me in your precious blood and write my name in the Book of Life. Give me the power to live a righteous life from today and make me a productive child of God. I thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen”.

Isaiah  2 :2-3
2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
